15 MINUTE L TRAIN RIDE TO MANHATTAN! STRAIGHT FROM MORGAN AVENUE TO 14TH. STREET!....The L Train is the best line and the only one that has digital signs that tell you the arrival time of the next train! East Williamsburg is in the northwestern portion of the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. Much of this area has been and still is referred to as either Bushwick or Williamsburg. Since the 1990s, the area has seen a great influx of young artists, professionals, and "hipsters", mainly due to its close proximity to Manhattan and the relatively inexpensive rent.
